As a professional, certified CAPPA, DONA, Mother Wisdom, Spinning Babies and Sacred Pregnancy doula and birth educator, I wish to support and guide mamas as they connect mind, body and spirit and truly embrace their power during the transformative experience of becoming a mother.
Sometimes parents feel overwhelmed by the amount of information available during pregnancy. Moms can feel disconnected from their bodies and/or from their partners, the stories we often hear about birth are less-than-empowering and it's really hard to feel confident and trusting of 'the process'. Understanding the 'hows' of childbirth can be helpful, but in our birth education classes, we strive to help parents connect with the "why's" and then give them practical tools to surf whatever waves may come.
As both a certified CAPPA and Mindfulness Based Childbirth and Parenting instructor, I combine the technical, physical and spiritual in my birthing classes to ensure we cover all the bases :)

Birth is sacred and every birth is unique. Too, rarely is our birth as we imagined it would be and so it is of the utmost importance that mothers be listened to, treated with respect and given the guidance and support they need to ride the waves of labour. The ability to read a mother's body language, to anticipate her needs and have the knowledge to offer support as she moves through the dance of birth is what I do - no judgement. Open heart and open mind. I offer support throughout pregnancy, as labour unfolds and then continuous labour support during active labour, birth and during the first hours postpartum. I have extensive experience with breastfeeding and post-partum challenges and am ready to support my clients as needed. Please contact me for more information and fees.
